New 2010 Opel Astra Revealed

New 2010 Opel Astra fully revealed until its World premiere at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. The 6th generation Astra Insignia-inspired 5-door hatchback is based on GM’s new Delta platform that also underpins the Chevy Volt and Cruze models. New Astra comes with a new set of engines with 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline units.

The 2010 Astra features a new design and it will be a head turner. It’s up to court and neat looks mingle a silky and athletic sculpt with the newest Opel styling cues such as the characteristic scalloped plane blades and the Insignia-inspired headlights. Opel has not disclosed any photos of the new Astra‘s interior yet, but supposedly it will be like in the Insignia.
